      Good company, falling on some hard times

      Pros

      Great employees- competent and very open to sharing information and helping on projects. Management always had their door open (at least in my group) and was interested in discussing advancement opportunities and new projects.

      Cons

      Unstable over the past few years and in current economy- there were a number of layoffs while I was there, including young talent which is essential to helping the company grow and profit

      work-life balance in a leaderless company

      Pros

      work-life balance is unbeatable, I worked from home and as long as I performed no one questioned how many hours I put into this job. You can be anywhere in the world doing the job as long as you are connected and available to answer the questions of others

      Cons

      There is a constant threat of lay-offs creates extremely low morale and employee dedication. There is no leadership in Canada with senior management just caring about getting through the day. The senior managers have no authority as all shots are called in the US (rochester)

      Kodak Vancouver...still one of the best places to work!

      Pros

      Here in Vancouver we tarted out as Creo and were acquired in 2004. As time moves on the culture has changed a little but the senior management here has not. The culture is one of shared information, shared direction and shared success.

      Cons

      Rochester. Who knows what they do or what they are thinking.
