Pros

1.) Good work/life balance. 2.) Close to public transportation.

Cons

1.) The majority of management is not qualified for the positions they hold. 2.) As a result of #1 Kodak hires people for critical non-management positions who are clearly not qualified, incompetence is pervasive. 3.) Everything from management policies to product code bases are a total mess. No one can clearly tell you what the process is for deploying software upgrades, what the QA process is for product lines, and management has no clue about the software development life-cycle or how to apply it to their product lines. 4.) It was very clear from the first day I started the job Kodak has every intention of outsourcing all of their development work to Israel and China they just haven't worked out how to do it yet for some divisions. If you are hired as a software developer for Kodak, you are only a stop gap until they outsource your job. I was fortunate enough to find other employment but I would have been better off not working there at all.
