Pros

Decent pay, flexibility in work schedule, good benefit package and great location and work environment.

Cons

Senior management is out of touch with current technology and they seem to be stuck in the 70's. Each program (TOEFL, SAT, Praxxis) runs like an individual company and each has it's own executive, technological platforms, and employees. No cross application sharing. If ETS were to loose it's non-profit status they would be crushed by competitors like Pearson.

with over 2200 employees, you will always learn something new and meet interesting ppl.

Cons

management style and structure is outdated and is not representative of a progressive 21st century business model. very conservative and stodgy.

Pros

On the whole, ETS employees are fairly treated by management. Once a certain job level has been reached, employees enjoy a great deal of autonomy in performing their resposibilities.

Cons

ETS has made cutbacks in the number of personal time days and holidays. Salary increases were lower this year than in the past. The "collegiate" atmosphere that many enjoyed in the past is long gone.
