Pros

A great place to work with some awesome fringe benefits. Fun and playful working environment. Company values work life balance

Cons

Colleagues are huge sports fans which one would expect and while there are some talented people within the organization, was unimpressed with the level of talent of colleagues.

Pros

Company doing extremely well, growing rapidly, with lots of opportunity for those who bring valid skillsets to the business. Much comraderie.

Cons

Doing well and having money (deep pockets) also brings a certain lack of focus. Not a strategy driven company. Built from ground up, lots of talented people who have been there many years, and sometimes not enough outside influences to help business grow beyond what they know (well... sports entertainment.)

Overall, a great place to be, if you can get in.

Pros

ESPN is a well-known brand around the world, and that's reflected in the corporate culture. Management expects great things from you, as you're representing a huge brand. Compensation is great.

Cons

Due to the nature of the job, long hours are an inevitability for many employees. Media is that kind of animal. As I said, though, compensation is good.
