Pros

Excellent product - my only experience is with EF World Journeys but the product that we sell is absolutely life changing and special. Dynamic, inspiring CEO in Heidi Durflinger. String growth mindset culture that values professional development. A customer-centric focus. Business travel to exciting destinations. Lingo!

Cons

Recent stance on 4-5 days in office may be out of step with modern workforce expectations and demonstrated productivity. Maintaining work life balance for senior leaders is very challenging. There are pockets of the company (they often sit outside of specific products) that seem to be looking for things to do. Meanwhile, many departments within products are constantly busy. Consider whether the non-product team could be smaller in favor of supporting a business from inside the business which is much closer to the customer.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We’re glad to hear you’ve found EF’s mission, culture, and leadership inspiring, and that you’ve valued the opportunities for professional development and travel. We appreciate your perspective on work-life balance and in-office expectations. Our business is built upon bringing people together across borders and cultures, and we want our offices to reflect that—that being said, feedback like yours is invaluable as we continue to evolve and ensure our teams are set up for success. Thank you again!
