Great vision but an organizational shambles

Pros

Interesting work, great health benefits. A good taste of business / sales / operations for young people out of college but beware of handing over 10 years of your life without realizing it!

Cons

Work hard play hard is really another word for "live to work" and not "work to live". I can see why others think EF is cultish because it is all-consuming and you could work 100 hours a week for your whole life and never feel like you can do enough. Culture that breeds workaholism, affairs and kills families.

Management; No clear career path; Hirings and promotions made with no structure and primarly based on relationships you build within the companz; No HR department; Really low salaries

Pros

A good opportunity to work on a project with an international company.

Cons

Had to get a lawyer to retrieve my social security payments and holiday pay. However, I don't blame EF as a company, just the Spanish side of the business who knew what they were doing when the concealed my holiday pay and failed to pay my social security. After legal representation they agreed to pay all outstanding amounts to both myself and the other teacher on the project. I really felt so betrayed by EF after all the hard work and commitment I had given to representing them and promoting their name.
