Pros

It's good to work in a company where every employee loves his work. It is a realy huge international company - my trips to offices located in different parts of the world confirmed this. It doesn't matter in what country are you working, you always find help from colleagues around the world. The company is really strong team spirit. Sometimes you have to work for wear - it concernes summer monthes. You should be ready that you will not have vacation during this periond and sometimes you will have to stay longer in the office.

Cons

There is no social package for employees.

Great colleagues with poor management

Pros

The best part of working at EF language schools are definitely the people I worked with. Technically, teachers are competing with each other for classes, but there was never a shortage of colleagues helping each other in lesson planning, classroom management, and giving support in one way or another. The students also made for a great experience as well.

Cons

Management of classes. Staff at our school routinely ranked high in reviews from students and we had a high rate of recommendation. However, management always nit-picked about the 1% of complaints and too often micro-managed staff. Managerial reviews are nothing more than mere formalities. Additionally, classes would all too often be arbitrarily given and taken away without good reason. If you enjoy uncertainty of work and lack of transparency, this is the place for you.
