Poor management and constant turnaround

Pros

There is a vibrant social aspect to the company - plenty of opportunity to drink and mingle with colleagues.

Cons

- The management team has very little professional training - many of the mid to senior managers are former sales people who were promoted through the years. There are no upper managers with an MBA. - It is extremely political. - You are encouraged to become an "EF person" - attend all social events, make close friends with your colleagues (even romantic relationships), spend all of your time outside of work with EF people, and it is not uncommon for EF people to live together - Low pay in all departments - Constant turnaround in sales and customer service

Pros

Working in the International Division, your able to travel, have ownership of your territory and responsibility for its growth. If you are interested in sales on a passionate level this job is for you. This was my first inside sales job and I loved every minute of it. If you have studied abroad and have a desire to get others to do the same, this is the job, for a temporary while, for you.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, inconsistent reward. Dont push employees down a path they dont want to go.

Pros

Nice colleagues, great kids, picturesque campus, good benefits package. Good starting point for young teachers who don't expect a high salary.

Cons

Understaffed, expectation that you will contribute many after-school hours on extracurricular activities and administrative duties, low salaries, high teacher turnover.
