Great culture, lower than market pay until management levels

Employee culture is very collaborative and positive

Cons

Base pay and benefits are severely lacking, now that pension plan is gone; many side "perks" (e.g., parental leave, etc.) are being improved, but the base salary and total compensation is significantly lacking until one reaches 10+ years of experience. The company also values tenure (even for poor performance) over high-performing individuals. Early engineers (> 7 yr) are leaving for other jobs, and the company is having a very tough time of retaining them.

Good Benefits Annual Raises Good Pay Good starting job if you're lucky to stay there.

Cons

Shiftwork on 7-2 Swing is horrid. (Nobody wants to be at work 7 days a week) Management can be very two-faced. (Salary is not your friend.) Some operations leaders do not care about their employees, while others want you to succeed.

If you are a woman, keep looking. 2 weeks after coming back from maternity leave they cut my job. But all the men stayed. Nice Dow building solutions!
