      Great on paper, poor on follow through

      Pros

      The company is a paper tiger the procedures are good. It is a good place to learn how to deal with stress.

      Cons

      They tend to give you more work than you can perform, and when you do the work it just encourages the overload.

      Pros

      it was a very good experience and a great company to start working for as a recent college graduate at an entry level position

      Cons

      new hirers and interns are sometimes left unattended to and they can go for weeks to months without doing any real work.

      Pros

      Good benefits. Well respected company. Flexible working hours for salaried employees. Lots of resources through the Dow network. Not too far from Philadelphia or Baltimore.

      Cons

      The Newark site location is pretty bad: awkwardly placed and an unattractive working environment. Aloof management, seemingly uninterested in employees' professional development. There are some good efforts put forth by Dow (e.g., professional development, training), but employees seem resentful or apathetic in following through for some reason.
