      Pros

      Dow offers a good diversity. You get chances to interact with different functions and people from various backgrounds. For someone new to corporate life, working in Dow could be a beneficial journey to explore yourself and identify the best career track for your future. There are also many good mentors.

      Cons

      The entire R&D organization is huge. If you don't manage your career it is very likely that your voice would be overwhelmed by the noise. And, just like all the other big companies, there are formalities and politics involved in your day to day work. So deal with it.

      Pros

      Employee value is well understood in Dow. A very friendly HR company. Roles can be interchanged from one department to other. This leads to multi-discipline learning and knowledge acquisition.

      Should see that policies are also friendly towards extra curricular activites

      Pros

      Opportunities for growth if you apply yourself. Professional work environment. Good leaders depending on which department your working in.

      Cons

      Too many politics within the management. Many senior level leaders lack experience and do not take ownership of issues in their department. Too many tasks involved in one role. Constant layoffs make a future unpredictable. The company relies on incompetent contractors to complete tasks. Terrible communication between management and employees. The company is not as stable as it previously was.
