      Exciting experience w/a dissapointing ending (North Location)

      Pros

      Fun place to work. Always meeting new people that come to events and the hotel staff as a whole were great, hard-working people. Some fun employee events. I had a great time doing my job and I was good at it.

      Cons

      The sales department and upper management will throw you under the bus at any given moment and they are fake as the day is long. I haven't experienced such cattiness and back talking since high school. They never let a mistake go, and there is absolutely no training. They hired me with none and they were horrified when I made mistakes. No support, and then they will write you up until you quit. Such a terrible ending to what I thought was going to be a long-term place of employment for me. And the pay is embarrassingly low for how much money we bring into the establishment. Worse pay for a job I have experienced in my professional life.

      Pros

      workmates are great people and fun to be around with. great laughs at work.

      Cons

      Learnt that I am an individual at the end of the day and I have to speak up for my self. If I dont like i say it, If it doesnt work for me I spaeak up. That has kept me going for years and years.
