Pros

Diverse teams Use of modern technology and frameworks

Cons

If not within the Uruguayan circle forget about salary increment. When they no longer want you they give you a poor performance so that they replace you with a spanish speaking person who also speak English. You work across timezones and you expected to support LATAM EMEA timezones They operate more like a startup and really not organized. If the manager dont like you then rest assured your contract is ending soon. They dismiss you like you have never worked for them before.

Bad experience, avoid at all costs, only works for you if you’re toxic

Pros

No pros. The “management” have no real knowledge of the market, they rely on information they heard years ago and they are can’t keep a team together. Its amazed me how someone with little knowledge of the market becomes a department head. No pros to add.

Cons

Plenty of cons. Toxic culture, you are only safe / secure if you’re “one of them”, there is plenty of micromanagement from toxic staff, no real internal processes to ensure success, no security in the company, there is little hope of the company going far with its current management

Pros

Good pay and perks. Flexible timings and no micro management

Cons

People of certain nationality and background are given preferential treatment. It’s not a fair playing ground that celebrates diversity. You can easily end up feeling secluded in your role. There’s lack of proper guidance, fair evaluation and empathy for employees.
