      The brands - there is a lot of pride associated with the brands the people - dynamic, success-oriented individuals who like to have fun there is a high bar on performance and you really push yourself to be a part of it external reputation of working at diageo is great career opportunities world-wide company perks on brands

      Cons

      most managers have an 'a' team and a 'b' team ... if you're not on the 'a' team, working ilfe can be very different...you can miss out on opportuntiies. few managers have the patience to support you if you're doing it tough as they are under immense pressure to deliver themselves depends on your manager - some managers don't live the values at all and suffer no consequences

      Pros

      Excellent atmosphere, spirited workforce, lots of candidness and good vibes. Many chances to make friends not just work colleagues due to out-of-work activities and parties / celebrations. Realistic opportunities to work abroad across the 5 continents with huge international and multicultural exposure. Good non-hierarchical speak-up culture where all can be discussed.

      Cons

      Certain tendency to favor Scottish or Anglo-Saxon backgrounds in favor of other cultures when appointing roles. Decision making slow and not very fact-based. Easy going attitude and behavior is encouraged ahead of analytical rigour or solid knowledge, which makes it a paradise for politics and mediocre individuals sometimes making it up to senior management based just on loyalty, not qualifications or merits. Target setting quite inconsistent, contradictory and last minute, and changing constantly. Lately obsessed with cost, again with inconsistent and too simplistic approach

      Pros

      The company brand is great. It sells itself. Great benefits only. If you interested in retiring there, it is a good company to work for.

      Cons

      Basic pay is very low. Feels like they exploit employees. There have moved most of their work to countries out of the U.K, To pay lower wages. Leadership is really bad. They only think about themselves and make you work doubly hard for nothing. Senior leadership 'work from home'. They don't believe that leadership must be seen not heard. Rather it must be heard NOT seen. Lol. The leadership will bring this company down not its products.
