Pros

Generous benefits package. including six months of fully paid paternity leave. Quarterly reimbursement for premium spirits. such as Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Don Julio 1942. Annual team meetings hosted in destinations like Las Vegas or Orlando. Stable environment with strong long-term tenure. making it possible to build a multi-decade career if that aligns with your goals.

Cons

Career growth in eCommerce is limited due to regulatory constraints on alcohol marketing. Many standard CPG levers. such as search optimization of product titles and paid search campaigns. are either restricted or not viable. This significantly narrows the ability to build and execute a full-funnel eCommerce strategy. As a result. the organization relies heavily on partnerships and sponsorships. such as NFL and FIFA. rather than modern performance-driven digital tactics. While these initiatives have value. they do not fully compensate for the lack of core eCommerce capabilities. For those looking to develop well-rounded eCommerce expertise comparable to other CPG companies. this may not be the ideal environment.

Pros

Pay & Benefits are wonderful

Cons

Unrealistic expectations towards employees Insurance benefits *Managers* are composed of front-line production leads and those who may oversee or supervise.* The work-life balance is severely lacking, and there are biased managers who add negative connotations to peers' actions without any solid evidence or knowledge. Furthermore, these managers often lack technical expertise regarding machinery and engage in excessive micromanagement of employees. The workplace lacks diversity as defined, and the hiring representatives are typically the same floor leads that micromanage peers creating unfair hiring process at Diageo. Many individuals who have encountered the corrupt practices lead reps in previous jobs are frequently denied opportunities.
