Pros

Good Benefits Very Social Company Ongoing Flex Fridays

Cons

Lack of compliance deeply embedded in the culture in many groups ( marketing agency kickbacks, racism, nepotism, falsification of distribution sales values) Had very poor management at senior levels Diversity is a buzzword and not a practice at Diageo No significant roles senior leaders that are black or Hispanic Mid level and director level leaders really suffer for the lack of knowledge, integrity, and mentorship of their managers Categorically does nor promote black employees and women

Pros

The brands, flexy working etc

Cons

-HR processes are unbelievably weak -Leadership standards -Employee Engagement (verified by dismal (and decreasing) internal engagement survey) -Direction (there is a re-org every two years resulting in talent flush outs, and no one left to do the job afterwards) -Pay is average at best -Actively discriminates against males (another great HR process to hire more females) .... ugh i could go on.

Pros

Average salary, good mat and pat leave, nice offices, decent food.

Cons

Unskilled management, nepotism runs rife in Diageo Gb but no one admits it. Exec leadership team in GB is ineffective and politics ridden. Any dissenters are swiftly exited- several skilled, highly visible and high performing employees have left GB over the last 18 months - with no response provided by management and stone cold silence. Further paralysed by a feel-good leader who doesn’t have the skills and experience to transform the business and the backbone to make tough calls and follow them through. All vibes no substance. No progression as a result, high workload and low engagement. No one speaks up - fear led culture.
