Pros
Growing business across rural Scotland with a fantastic quality of life and salary for local conditions. Opportunities to move across wide range of production plant from malting, distilling through to packaging within Scottish production facilities. Further opportunities to move into beer , wine and marketing across the globe.
Cons
A lot of competition for promotion across a relatively flat structure does cause some slower progression and some dissatisfaction with opportunities with young ambitious staff who value hierarchical promotion over quality of life .Taking time to assess the conditions and roles they have and the life balance they can enjoy should help everyone realize the grass is not always greener elsewhere.
