Pros

Compensation and benefits are excellent Free drinks Flexible work arrangements depending on role and manager

Cons

Extremely short-term results driven. Senior management keeps pushing to hit unrealistic targets and forcing action that is doing long-term harm to business Culture of keeping the status quo, resistant to change. Easier to do nothing say nothing and stay unnoticed. Work life balance is non-existent in some teams Sales driven, not marketing driven company Every market does their own thing so a lot of complexity IT systems are terrible, difficult to get basic numbers Talks about valuing and training people but doesn't deliver. There is zero role transition.

Pros

Wonderful brands if a little ubiquitous, good bonus, relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Balancing work and life can be a challenge, results driven culture that is confused on how to reward achievement. Progression depends on contact making and ability to say the right things to the right people rather than exploiting genuine talent. Business rarely listens to employees and seems to repeat mistakes. The culture of the celebrity leadership is over present and annoying. Salary growth is pretty poor and based on rather faceless HR decisions about benchmarking with actually no evidence to support their assessment. If you arrive at the top of the pay banding for current grade, salary growth unlikely unless you move role, which is limited by proximity to London and who you know. On the surface, Strong values, but look deep enough, and more a case of lip service than any genuine ambition to adhere. Needs a huge overhaul in management will long terms ambitions rather than yearly reaction to growth and profit issues.
