      Pros

      Great pay, benefits, brands. If you are lucky enough to get a job at Diageo and you're willing to move, there is decent potential for career promotions and cross functional lateral opportunities.

      Cons

      Constant reduction in overhead through job reductions in marketing, sales, and human resources. Many roles have now moved inside our distributor partners through what the leadership calls "forward integration".

      Good development opportunities if you work hard Lots of international people Good atmosphere Great products

      Cons

      They cut a lot in training budgets the last years, if you're not in the commercial teams, you probably won't have much. It is expected from you to work a lot and to be competitive. Even though they want to promote work-life balance, they are still not there. The salary policy: they're using a benchmark of their talent's competitor depending on the level of the role. It's very common to be offered 75%-80% of the mid-point of your salary range.

      Opportunity to try and succeed in different roles in a relatively short period of time. Internal brand trainings and great product portfolio.

      Cons

      Reorgs are often confusing and only bring drawbacks to just applied processed. Hard to settle in the constantly changing expectations.
