      Very sad pay and conditions

      Pros

      Get to view beautiful properties with (sometimes) lovely people. Really good events for Christmas and summer. But that’s it

      Cons

      Expect so much effort for such little financial gain- unachievable targets dependant on fluctuating market conditions. Long hours no work life balance. Insecure and unstable commission- if a sale of a property falls through (buyer falls ill, situation financially changes, changes their mind and plans) you don’t get the commission and all your effort and hours was for free. Basic pay does not cover your needs and is unpredictable- you also need to work so hard just to achieve minimum wage or around 25k. Anything about this in my opinion is your commission, but the basic is shockingly low for the skill and effort required.

      100% for development opportunities and career progression

      Pros

      Career development and progression are at the heart of what Dexter's do best, having been with the company for 3 years, I have progressed from a trainee to a Sales Manager in the Richmond Borough. Completely switching job sectors pre-covid, Dexter's have been brilliant at providing me with the right tools to learn and thrive.

      Cons

      Working one in 3 Saturdays would be great! However, Dexter's have bumped up on annual leave which is great.
