      Pros

      Dell has many great people at various levels within the company. Almost everyone wants to make great products and satisfy customers.

      Cons

      There are too many politicians running the company. They have great political skills but lack leadership. As a result the company has continued to "re-org" itself into a corner.

      compensation is competitive, brand and company still respected (at least externally and outside Austin), Austin isn't a bad place to live

      Cons

      challenging place to work, but not the sort of challenge that you want. Less about thinking and being strategic and more about tactical challenges navigating the org and getting things done. culture not great and morale seems to be low
