The only pros are the customers that appreciate you.

Cons

As a manager you are trained by being yelled at across the store in front of customers. Most of your trainers don't know the training themselves and become annoyed when you have to interact with them per the training module. They make you work 12 + hour days practically on your own because they are so understaffed. They can't keep people because of their ridiculous tiered commission. You get moved around from store to store with absolutely no work life balance. Most of the store managers are not fulfilling their roles whatsoever committing time fraud and treating employees horribly.

Pros

Decent pay for my position in Alterations, but only because I had a bachelors degree. Coworkers were great.

Cons

Poor management (went through 2 in the few months I was there) and treated employees like children. No benefits for part-time (understandable but sheesh be nice) and very inflexible with hours. Expect you to be ready at the snap of their fingers for any shift and very mean about taking your deserved 15 minute break. High employee turnover rate.

Most of the staff members are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Management is disrespectful to employees. They are very critical and are not afraid to belittle their staff in front of customers and other coworkers. In addition, they are often disorganized which only adds to the chaotic environment of the store.
