Pros

The best part of working at Davids Bridal was working with great wedding consultants! Those girls work so hard and most were such a pleasure to work with! Also they do offer a wonderful benefits package to their fulltime employees.

Cons

The management team does not appreciate their employees, especially those who go above and beyond what is expected of them! There is a huge problem with favoritism in this company and you will never make it unless you know someone in management. I was a service supervisor, but was told that I was not working out, and basically asked to step down after the new assistant manager brought in her friend to interview for my position.r

Pros

- depending on your location, they have competitive wages - commission on sales - no call-ins - had pretty good hours

Cons

- working with brides is VERY HARD - Management can be VERY hard on associates in regards to sales - you actually don't get commission unless you meet your sales goals - The heavy dresses can strain your shoulders and back (a lot of my co-workers have gotten back problems)

Pros

Beautiful dresses Being a part of people's special day Great coworkers

Cons

Company doesn't care about its employees. They keep cutting full-time employees who have been there a long time and have never done anything to deserve the cut. Upper management can be rude, demanding, and demeaning. They are always short-staffed because they have to make the "payroll" goals So everyone is always in a hurry And the customer doesn't get the service she deserves And then she complains about the company All because the upper management are trying to increase their profit margins. And there is a high turnover rate because of all of this, which makes it more stressful to be there because everyone is always new and they are always training, so there are more errors - and the bride (and David's Bridal) suffer in the end.
