Good Money, Working with happy brides can make your day, looking at the gowns is fun

Cons

management is hard to find when needed on the floor, there aren't enough employees to cover shifts when sick and you get into major trouble when calling out.

Misleading Pay, Favoritism

Pros

Dressing the brides,and the bridal party was a very fun and rewarding experience. Some would cry when I found them "the dress" or their moms would tear up when I placed the veil on the daughters! That part wss priceless.

Cons

When I interviewed I was told that the average consultant made $15 an hour based on hourly ( which is right at minimum wage) plus commission. I have several years of successful sales experience, and worked very hard. I never made close to that. Other top consultants told me they had not either. The biggest problem is management showing favoritism towards certain employees, and allowing them to take the sales of others. If you aren't there the day your bride comes in, or comes back, watch out. Most likely the favored employee will have rung up your sale after you have worked with that bride!

decent pay if you arent a consultant fun staff rewarding being able to help brides you get lots of customer service exerience

Cons

stress level high overworked long hours hard to make commision most months of the year managers are very stressed trying to make numbers so they can be demanding
