      Pros

      Working with some of the best (non-management) people in the business.

      Cons

      Poor pay, benefits, raises; too many middle managers; upper management believes everyone is out to cheat them/the company. No recognition of hard working employees during good times or bad. HR isn't looking out for you; they're looking to meet forecasts/metrics/KPIs. You're just another number on a spreadsheet.

      Fairly well run company with some major flaws.

      Pros

      Flat managerial structure means minimal bureaucracy compared to equally sized corporations. The average worker may only be 5 managers removed from the CEO whereas a similar organization would be upwards of 20. Strong management retention. DBS approach works. Strong communication of business status to employees.

      Cons

      Use of pay cuts over furlough days. Non-existent raises for non-technical and technical positions regardless of performance. Management's carrot-and-stick approach to motivating employees, promising reward but never delivering.

      Pros

      Fair ability to move to other companies within the company. Corporate management is fully dedicated to providing benefits to stockholders.

      Cons

      Abysmal raises barely keep up with inflation rate. Raises are not based on performance in any way. Everyone is expendable in pursuit of the Bottom Line.
