      Pros

      Respect for my views, and reliance on my skills. Very supportive of those who "go the extra distance"

      Cons

      Strong and open focus on revenue generation, with limited thought for career development. Not good at looking internally for causes of issues. Can tend to blamestorm when things go badly

      Pros

      Pay well. BD's entertain clients with endless drinks at great events. Good Location. Big name clients. Interesting acquisitions over time.

      Cons

      Aggressive management. BD's sell BA's, Developers or PM's as consultants to their clients regardless of the actual skill set required. Outdated model with sales guys who have no idea about technology. No respect to the heartbeat of the business (the consultants). Not able to claim expenses or travel. Micro managed.
