Pros

Opportunities for international secondments do exist, particularly at solicitor/associate level.

Cons

Same as every other big law firm - low pay initially, some partners with next to no management/interpersonal skills or values. Not as much training as there should be at graduate level.

Pros

Good working environment, friendly colleagues and partners. Good deals to learn from and senior management is generally aware of when additional support is required.

Cons

The only issue is that when the department is busy, you are in for late nights. Most certainly if a number of deals are on at the same time.
