Pros

For the amount of business they do, pay is pretty good vs. workload

Cons

Were do I start? Stores are Toxic. Management is a joke. You can literally do anything or say anything you want to or about anyone with zero accountability. DMs could care less about the people that work in store it’s all about surveys and credit accounts and ship from store times with nobody there payroll wise to support it. No teaching moments at all from a district standpoint, just shut up do your job and do not ask questions. Do not ever utilize open door, it doesn’t exist. If there is a problem just go drink it off later. Don’t go to first level of HR. They will blow you off like you don’t matter.

Pros

The employee discount and friends made.

Cons

Working an average of 55 to 65 hours a week with no appreciation for personal time and being contacted on days off for work related conversations or requests (read demands) to come in. The bonuses were a joke and we were lucky to see $50 a quarter and were expected to be grateful for it while store and district managers could see 10% or more of their salary, it's a disgrace and slap in the face for working up to 16 hour days. Also, having to do more with less and being told that upper management doesn't care that you only have 4 employees in the store. The amount of times that payroll is cut at the end of the month to help other stores in the district make payroll just so that the DM can get their quarterly and yearly bonus (up to 25% of their already massive salary from what was known at the time) was ridiculous and put massive strain on the employees both mental and financially when we had to drop full time employees to 18 hours or less for a week or two because of it.
