      Pros

      Curves was a sisterhood gym, still is. You could walk in there blue and come out gleaming bright curves did that t you.

      Cons

      When you come in as a new hire you don't have a schedue and it was like that for a whole year and 3 months.

      Had a great manager, but lost my job quickly in a layoff

      Pros

      I was lucky in that I had a great manager and coworkers - not all departments are like that. I had a flexible schedule and the company focuses heavily on employees' health, of course.

      Cons

      As privately owned, the company is captive to the quirky whims of the CEO/Owners. Some of my coworkers were asked to do free work as favors for politicians or religious groups who the owners supported. I lost my job in a mass layoff after working there for just 10 months. The layoff process was painful - cold and clinical. Professional workers are still paid hourly.

      Pros

      You get free membership and can work out during your shift.

      Cons

      Members complain about being too hot or cold and you get in trouble for that. They want you to be responsible for cash that was taken, but not counted by a daytime employee. Outdated computer system & workout music.
