Pros

You don’t have to work weekends

Cons

Where to begin? I started when this company was a fun place to be, people were nice and respectful, unfortunately I left this company due to severe bullying and no progression (even after I was offered a job in a different position..). Unfortunately if your face does not fit in this company then you have no place, and you will soon be made aware of this, I had a group of friends within this company who unfortunately turned on me and made everyday at work hell for me. I had comments about my weight, I was shoved, I had constant dirty looks and whispering, it even escalated to outside of work. One “friend” reached a managerial level (case handlers) and decided I was no longer of use, this is when it began. Both inside of work and outside I received abuse and nasty comments. One of the other “untouchable” members of staff who works in the service team actually resorted to threatening a member of my partners family and slated me to the high heavens...making attending work even harder. This then led to their “gang” expanding and turning even more people against me with nasty lies and bullying behaviour. I attended numerous doctors appointments and had to have counselling because I already suffered anxiety which they were aware of. The management and higher authority’s were aware of this but it took for me to write an email to the CEO for this to be noticed...but even then meetings were uncomfortable. Certain members of HR were helpful and did try their best to help me once this was finally addressed...but it was made uncomfortable that the bully’s were friends with these people. Once I decided to leave and managed to get the courage the CEO actually made me very uncomfortable with awkward questions. I also applied for a quality control job that had been advertised, which I interviewed for and had already started working at, I was told I had gotten the job for it to be taken away with 0 explanation. I was told to create presentations to present and do A LOT of work, I was marking calls etc...but again, once the bullying started my face no longer fit so this was swiped from under me and I was shoved on a team I new nothing about. All in all, I would stay clear of this company..majority are bullies and management look after their own. When their staff aren’t sleeping with each other they are slagging people off.

Pros

It's a job that pays some bills. Other team members and colleges

Cons

Ive just read the recent reviews and laughed. This place is the most regimented, inflexible employer I've ever worked for. They keep changing roles and targets. The focus isnt on the customer its on the number of calls made - never mind the quality. Your even told when you can go to the toilet and if your face fits you might get a promotion far. If you just do the job your at the bottom of the pile and treated like rubbish

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to read this and how you're feeling. You don't say which part of the business you work in so it's hard for me to respond specifically. As you will know from our monthly company updates, we're a dynamic and ambitious business. We're investing in marketing and technology which is aiding the business growth. You'll also know we've also recently recognised a bunch of folks for "Exceeding Expectations" on customer calls and have introduced our "Wow Factor" awards too. Standards, targets and behaviours are an important part of what we look for and reward, though but we want everybody to feel appreciated. I'd encourage you to share your feelings with your team leader in your next 121. Alternatively, speak with your Engagement representative who can help raise your specific concerns on your behalf. Perhaps we could also have a coffee and an informal chat about this offline so I can understand a little more? Thank you. Tony. CEO

Pros

I have worked at Crystal for nearly 6 years and I can honestly say that it is a great place to work. I have progressed throughout the company over those years and I am now a Team Leader. I would like to state that I am not a 'brown noser' or related to anyone in the company as other reviews seem to insinuate that you need to be to gain progression. Most of the leaders within Crystal have been promoted internally and this is encouraged. If you work hard and show the right attitudes then this is recognised and rewarded. Crystal has a very 'family' atmosphere and the CEO is very much hands on and very approachable. His door is always open and he is more than willing to sit and have a chat. Crystal offer a good benefits package including healthcare and sick pay. Holidays increase with length of time served. The office is shut down over the Christmas period so you get a nice long break. Crystal has a charity committee that arrange events throughout the year to raise money for our chosen charities. We also have a good colleague engagement forum where employees can express their opinions/ideas. Evereything raised within that forum is addressed. There is a social side to Crystal as well. The CEO puts on a great Christmas party and a summer social. If anyone is considering a great career with great prospects within a business where you are rewarded and has a friendly atmosphere then i would strongly reconmend that you apply at Crystal Legal Services

Cons

None as I really enjoy working here.
