Pros

Lots of opportunities to grow and contribute. Challenging and fun variety of work. I am excited to go to work almost every day. Forward thinking and innovative culture and philosophy. Most people are generally courteous and helpful. I feel valued and treated (paid) well and fair.

Cons

The work environment can occasionally be noisy and difficult for concentration. Unfortunately, it appears leadership has been slow to do much about this. While I feel I have been treated fairly, I’m not sure everyone has.

Pros

The onboarding process was fantastic. Got to meet people from almost every office in the country. They provide great benefits and PTO. The location of the Columbus Office is great, right next to the arena. Most of the seniors and staff there are hard-working and great to work with!

Cons

While the firm stressed a "Work-Life" Balance, this was always difficult to achieve, even when it wasn't tax season. Managers would get upset if staff and seniors didn't work 60-65 hours a week in off-season. The seniors were way overloaded with work but the company wasn't bringing on any new seniors, only new managers. Many of the seniors and managers did not know how to correctly use workpapers, so they couldn't train new staff on how to correctly complete workpapers, but then they would get angry when it wasn't correct. Many members of management seemed to enjoy putting staff down and making them feel worse about themselves. One manager would even give staff poor performance evaluations if they disagreed with her.
