The job responsibilities were not even close to what I was hired to do . I worked long hours with no help or direction from anyone in my team and I was expected to expertly complete work I had no background in. I was demeaned, chastised and treated like I was an idiot because their job description didn't match the actual job.

Fingers crossed for not being assigned to assist one of the inexperienced young manager. He should equipped himself with local knowledge and exposures instead of keep asking to clarify of those silly questions. Google teacher is always open arms for you to ask question. Please do research before you ask because client will know you are new to Sg and loss confidence on you. Always micromanage staff coming down to client office to monitor audit progress. Why don't you go to be kindergarten teacher? Hear say he will fail the junior colleague probation without opportunity given. Maybe the director is sleeping and just blindly trust him.

Pros

CTC is fixed. There is no variable plus bonus that is over and above CTC for performance.

Cons

No work life balance. Daily work routine of 10-12 hrs. Can not take casual leaves. Have to submit plan for leaves atleast one month before.
