Pros

Monthly bonus, tons of PTO and sick time.

Cons

As a manager you are required to use your personal cell phone for all work calls. You MUST answer your phone at all times. You are treated like a slave from upper manager and they make you feel worthless. The DM's never answer their phones, emails or offer help. When they visit they scream at you and tell you everything you are doing wrong and never offer to assist in any way. The staff is paid very low and you are required to meet unattainable goals. There is no room for advancement in the company, once you become an MIT you will be stuck in that position till you leave. There are currently no General Managers in my area and the highest level of management are two MIT's both who have been told they are not fit to have the title store manager because the company wont pay. The DM only looks out for what will make the DM bonus and will treat you like a slave.

Pros

Great Benefits, generous discount, time off accrual was superior

Cons

Our district rarely sees positive feedback for a job done above and beyond, favoritisim overshadows profesionalism, allowing for a "one team against the other" attitude - now an all for one goal attitude: HR, RMs and DMs in our area are friends on a personal level (even on each others' Facbook pages discussing nights of partying)- this makes it difficult and treacherous to lodge a complaint: HR doesn't keep complaints confidential. DMs work well with midlevel sales stores for improvement. Poorly performing stores get reprimanded and little help, above par stores rarely are recognized for their performance and are overlooked.

Pros

The companies product is revolutionary and dynamic. Crocs Retail was somewhat laid back until it went corporate 2 years ago. They are now blitzing the retail market with store fronts and there is a lot of potential for growth within. Must be willing to relocate though.

Cons

Unfortunately Crocs does not always promote from within. Low pay and high expectations for their middle management is not uncommon. Although the product is revolutionary the business plan and marketing is not. The shoe has a cult following and can easily sell itself. The company banks on this and cuts corners with marketing and visuals which in the end cheapens the product and it's public appearance.
