Good learning environment, smart people, great products, fair compensation. Company is focused on premium growth and sales execution.

Cons

Constantly reorganizing to maintain shareholder value results in frequent leadership changes. It can be hard to establish yourself coming in, especially due to constant leadership changes. Get in with someone in the "Old Boy" network and you'll do fine. Otherwise, remain vigilant and use Covidien to build your resume so you can move on to a more secure work culture.

Good pay and benefits. Talented people to work with at peer level. Large corporation so there are job opportunities in many different states/countries

Cons

Corporate has a lot of expectations but does not allow the resources to get things accomplished. Way too much red tape to get anything done efficiently.
