      Pros

      Most benefits good. If you are lucky enough to keep your colleagues at the company you were aquired with this is a positive.

      Cons

      Destroy companies they aquire. Are not trustworthy in what they say when aquiring a company. People are interchangeable parts to management.

      Covidien - like many places out there a good place to work but it depends on who your manager is

      Great products, what the company makes can save/improve people's lives Growth, the company has done well in the economic downturn and since the spin off from Tyco

      Cons

      Depending on who your manager is, there could be work/life balance issues Still an "Old Boys" club going on at the organization, regardless of what senior management says the actions don't match the words it is still who you know A few leaders make broad decisions without knowing the full facts
