Given the right opportunity (manager, project, etc), this is a great place to work.

There are some great, motivated people working there. With the right managers, the opportunity for development is fantastic. Work/life balance is great (again with the right manager).

Cons

Silos and lack of goal alignment make working with other functions difficult. Constant change hinders progress. Unmotivated people are allowed to slide by and make things difficult. Lack of decision making slows/delays all development progress and is demotivating for teams.

Some of the people are wonderful to work with as long as they are not suppervisors

Cons

Claimed to be "World Class" - not possible with many different operating systems used to operate machinery (from Windows 95 to Windows 2000". Having supervisors think it's their company and not asking what company feels is right. Not allowing people to make mistakes, since they are only human. Believing that there is no such thing as an accident. Scaring their employees with rules like three warnings = suspension, 4th one fired especially when their "investigations" only get one side of the story. Allows the work place to be lacks for many years but expecting employees to snap into shap in a matter of hours.
