      Pros

      The Medtronic acquisition of Covidien seems more than just another mega-merger. One plus one can equal three. Great company values and a company that seems to walk the talk, that would be Medtronic i'm talking about.

      Cons

      Integration activity cannot come fast enough. There are areas of Covidien that need swift intervention. Lots of us are hoping for more rational org structures and less complex matrix structures.
