The guests are usually a pleasure and there are a lot of conventions/events taking place at the Javits Center down the block. You meet a lot of cool people.

Cons

Management is quite the mess. You'll definitely experience passive aggressive micromanagement here. There's no bellman and the luggage closet is a mess and too small for a hotel with 400 beds. No room for growth here either. The pay is alright, more than hotels in the surrounding area, but there aren't any good benefits. They do accommodate your school schedule and they are pretty flexible with scheduling as long as your shift is covered.
