Thank you for sharing your experience as a Financial Controller. We are glad to hear that you find the salary competitive and appreciate the flexibility of our hybrid work model. Both aspects are essential to our commitment to supporting our employees professionally and personally. We also take your feedback regarding the state of the finance department seriously. Organizational clarity and efficient processes are essential, especially in finance, where accuracy and structure are critical. Your insights serve as a valuable reminder that we must continue to work on improving internal alignment, streamlining workflows, and providing the necessary tools and support for teams to succeed. Thank you for your contributions and for helping us identify opportunities for improvement. Your input plays a significant role in shaping a stronger Corpay.

Remote work Some teams are good

Cons

Leadership is completely inept. Forcing clients to move to a new system that doesn't work. Nothing but smoke and mirrors

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for your long-standing commitment to Corpay. We’re glad to hear that remote work and positive team experiences have been highlights of your time here—foundational to our efforts to create a flexible and supportive work environment. We also want to acknowledge your concerns about leadership and the client experience during system transitions. Change—especially involving key platforms—can be challenging, and we understand the frustration when those transitions don’t go as smoothly as planned. Your feedback underscores the importance of ensuring new systems are fully ready and functional before implementation and maintaining transparency with clients and internal teams throughout the process. As always, we take concerns about leadership seriously. Your feedback will be shared with the appropriate internal teams for further review. We are committed to continuously improving how we lead, communicate, and deliver value to our clients and people. Thank you again for your contributions and candor—your insights help us grow stronger.

Pros

Wonderful opportunities to grow and learn, At Corpay, you’ll get exposure to different functions and experience. You’ll work on things that you didn’t know you would work on and learn things you didn’t know you needed to learn. Plus we have access to LinkedIn Learning where I could learn pretty much anything. Benefits costs are low. Leadership tends to be people focused, often rallying for their high performing employees in some capacity.

Cons

Corpay is in a growth phase so if you’re someone who thrives in a structured environment, just keeping the status quo, this isn’t an environment for you. This company values doers and performers, people who figure out how to get stuff done and actually get it done with little or no direction or prompting. Again, if you’re not comfortable figuring things out on your own, you’re likely not going to succeed here. Unfortunately, I have not seen much company driven development opportunities for low performers or for lower level employees.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as a Director and for your ongoing contributions to Corpay. We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve found the company to be a place of growth, learning, and opportunity. It’s great to know you’ve benefited from cross-functional exposure, expanded your skillset, and used resources like LinkedIn Learning to continue your development. That spirit of curiosity and growth is something we value deeply. We also appreciate your recognition of our leadership's people-focused mindset. Supporting and advocating for high-performing employees and empowering individuals to take on new challenges is a core part of our culture, and it’s encouraging to hear that reflected in your experience. At the same time, we recognize and appreciate your honest reflections about areas for improvement. Corpay is in a phase of rapid growth, and with that comes a fast-paced environment that thrives on ownership, initiative, and agility. That said, we also understand that not everyone enters this kind of environment with the same level of support or clarity. Your thoughtful note about the need for more intentional development and coaching—particularly for team members who may be earlier in their journey or still finding their rhythm—is an essential reminder that actual growth includes bringing everyone along. Your advice about remaining open to industry best practices and alternative approaches to success is well taken. While we value a performance-driven culture, innovation and progress often come from listening, adapting, and being open to new working methods. Thank you again for your insight and leadership. Your voice helps shape the future of Corpay, and we’re grateful to have you on the team.
