Pros
Remote work offers freedom. The Fleetcor provided me an opportunity when others wouldn't. Fleetcor also allowed me to work hard and carve a path, earn four or so promotions I actually earned company stock and multiple president's club appearances to a variety of Caribbean destinations. I treated fairly throughout the 2020 pandemic.
Cons
My focus was Fleetcor's core business, fleet fuel cards and some business expense cards. I would never solicit Fleetcor's products to anyone I know personally. If you sold these products to your neighbor, expect that neighbor to soon be holding a torch actively burning down your house out of pure frustration of Fleetcor's extraordinary and convoluted fee structures, trifling customer service and overall glib. The company did a complete tear down and rebuild of the quota/comp structure every single year I was there. Fleetcor's perpetual legal snafus (SEC filings/FTC lawsuits/internal employee lawsuits/customer lawsuits) will surely provide both liberal and conservative business schools a wealth of resources on how to improve capitalism. My cable provider, congressional representative and the villains from any Batman move have better business ethics than Fleetcor.
