Small District Team Atmosphere Welcoming atmosphere

Cons

Behind with technology (mainly software) which causes extra work and redundancy Horrible mentor program. Unrealistic expectations unless you want to give up nights and weekends to work. Unequal sharing of responsibilities. Salary to workload ratio is horrible Think before working in CISD

Overall great kids attend their schools

Cons

Specific campuses can help alleviate teacher burn out, but at the end of the day it stems from the district level. Teaching in general is hard, but this district makes it feel a bit harder, especially for newer teachers as their BEAM program is particularly ineffective.
