Substitute teaching provides job flexibility, as you can set your own schedule. The staff have been great to work with at all locations.

Cons

It can be a challenge working with kids. As you gain experience, it will be easier to control the class. Some teachers have more thorough lesson plans than others.

Behind with technology (mainly software) which causes extra work and redundancy Horrible mentor program. Unrealistic expectations unless you want to give up nights and weekends to work. Unequal sharing of responsibilities. Salary to workload ratio is horrible Think before working in CISD
