Pros

I actually got rehired as a seasonal employee with the same store manager. Sally and the team members at store #3766 really made me feel welcomed and made me valued as an employee. I learn a lot from management, and it's always a fun time working at Converse.

Cons

I think we had a off hiring season, but the other seasonal employees this past year did not do the work they were supposed to and their availability was poor. I know in retail we are expected to work some weekends, but because of employees' availability, it was difficult for me to take time off.

Pros

Converse is backed by Nike Inc so while the compensation philosophy is to simply be average in the market place, the benefits are world class and unbeatable from a retail perspective.

Cons

Not a lot of communication with regional manager which allows you to work fairly independent but can make you feel stranded at times.
