Pros

Discounts make people stay - I heard this from everyone in Converse, Nike and Hurley - I even said it myself at times Non-commission, Flexible schedule, Quarterly bonus (if met) Meeting lots of tourist Located in a social area

Cons

Management changed too often (mostly from outside company) Hard to move up with constant revolving management especially coming from outside Too small to move up District Manager hard to get a hold off Non-commission > Some people work harder than others and get their hours played with People in management are too young and unorganized (or just plain childish) Shady people and alliances with managers who favor certain associates

Pros

40% off regular price and clearance items. You get to "double dip" with sales, such as the buy 1 get one 50% off. The work environment isn't incredibly pressured, they just ask that you do your best. There isn't a flippin' "converse credit card" that you must sale. And the pay is really good for a retail job.

Cons

The only problem I have had is being called in on days off and scheduling, even that hasn't been a really big issue.
