Discounts make people stay - I heard this from everyone in Converse, Nike and Hurley - I even said it myself at times Non-commission, Flexible schedule, Quarterly bonus (if met) Meeting lots of tourist Located in a social area

Cons

Management changed too often (mostly from outside company) Hard to move up with constant revolving management especially coming from outside Too small to move up District Manager hard to get a hold off Non-commission > Some people work harder than others and get their hours played with People in management are too young and unorganized (or just plain childish) Shady people and alliances with managers who favor certain associates

Great atmosphere. Until... see cons.

Cons

HR seemingly does not care to respond to or be unbiased regarding complaints. They simply judge and ostracize. They assist in rampant gossip at the store level. Nike has taken over and is ruining the experience of working for a company with the history and message that Converse had.
