Pros

Atmosphere can be fun. More Freedom on an everyday basis. Staff Dress every quarter. Employee Discounts are great. Great Health Coverage options.

Cons

Hard to grow with the company, not many growth opportunities. Stressful at times. More workload then employees to run the operations. Not many hours to dish out to staff that are not full time. Heavy turn over with associates.

Pros

Discounts at converse and Nike Fun environment, you can express yourself freely Staff dress every 3 months Easy to learn

Cons

Management basically does nothing. If you're good at you're job, the more work they give you. Little to no growth whatsoever. On off seasons expect it to be slow and your hours to be cut to practically nothing, unless you're a manager. And if your boss is sleeping with your employee, expect her to become a new lead manager shortly. And don't try to take your concerns to cooperate, they stand behind the terrible managers and you mean nothing.

Pros

The relationships. You meet all different kinds of people whether it be customers or your coworkers. The people make it bareable. The best Pro of all, the reason people stay through the aggravation & annoyance?-- The Nike Discount :)

Cons

Great pay as an associate. But if you ever want to move up in the company the pay gets worse. The assistant managers aka "leads" have way more responsibilities to take on with barely a step up in pay from an associate.
