This Company Acts Like It Is Completely Broke

Pros

Flexible work hours; remote work

Cons

Promotions / raises are NONEXISTENT. Your workload may get doubled, but your pay will always remain the same, forever and ever. When your peers and leaders get I-RiF'd (Involuntary Reduction in Force firing) and you don't, you will be expected to absorb their workload. You will NOT be compensated for this. Your title will not change and your pay will remain the same. You owe this company everything it expects just for the privilege of having a job. Managers get fired and their positions get deleted, but the business unit still exists and those employees will be "led" by an unqualified, under-educated "team lead" who is expected to do everything the manager did at the same pay rate. This company does not believe in paying for the work it expects, period. It's defining characteristic is demanding more for less while promising the moon to its customers.

Pros

This is the only benefit they offer, Health Insurance coverage is very good.

Cons

It is not a place you should spend more than 6 months working in. Supervisors are incompetent, unprofessional and they have restrictions for everything. You are not allowed to get off your seat at all unless you are on your break. Supervisor threatens employees with termination for any mistake. It is not employee friendly. You have to do manadatory overtime, not told at interview. Work space is deteriorated and everyone is always sick. They do not have an HR department where employees can get any orientation. No communication at al from main headquarters. No work life balance at all.

Pros

People are decent. You can move up quickly as long as your stats aren’t abysmal & you show up everyday. Supervisors(least the ones I’ve had) care about their team.

Cons

Half hour lunches during critical periods(normally an hour) sometimes lasting an entire month. Pay nowhere near enough for what you deal with. Especially T2 ranks. Easy to burn out doing the same thing over & over for each call. No dedicated sick time. Everything counts against your PTO unless you are documented ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act) or other federally recognized disability. If you call out & have no PTO you have to make up the hours & also face write up. Not enough space for the ton of hires that come through every couple of weeks. Training & conference rooms always full so have to move people out their own desks on call floor during mentoring of new hires. Break area during lunch hours is impossible to deal with due to lack of space & too many employees. Store items are horribly overpriced, so if you don’t bring lunch or buy from food truck, you’re stuck.
