Pros

The company is a good company to work for, but right now the market is horrible, so it is really stressful. When the market it good, it is a great company because they have some wonderful marketing tools, and a great training program. Although sales is by nature really aggressive, since I have started at this company I have felt like the training was good, the atmosphere is generally helpful. Although I do not necessarily like the required phone duty time, it can provide good leads. When the market starts to recover, I would recommend the company as a good place to work.

Cons

Current real estate market. Agents are also really petty.

Pros

Everyone pulls together. People share good ideas and back each other up. The office managers never hesitate to help each other with clients, agents, promotion ideas. Even in these hard times for real estate people are looking ahead, looking to improve their skills and leadership abilities.

Cons

There seems to be a limited vision for changing the industry. Pretty reactive. This industry's traditional business model is under alot of pressure. It's built on former teachers, nurses and PTA moms. THere is a real opportunity to raise the level of professionalism, reduce costs and improve image. I don't see that thinking happening in the company.
