Pros

As a new agent just starting out in real estate, Coldwell offered stellar training and really helped me understand how to get clients and also do all the paperwork that goes along with buying/selling property. Their trainers are top-notch.

Cons

The commission split is not great for new agent, but I expect that would be the same thing at other brokerages.

Pros

The ability to work you own hours. The freedom to work any territory. Work with some very smart Realtors that may help answer questions.

Cons

The company needs a true training program, current training program is a joke. No salary, 100% commisssion. The monthly cost out of pocket just to hang you license can get expensive.

Pros

There is a very friendly atmosphere in the office. Teamwork is an essential element to our success. They offer great support and training.

Cons

We are in a very competitive market with several agencies in town. Many of the agencies have long time agents with big books of business, so it is difficult for a new agent to break in.
