      A stepping stone company

      Pros

      Given the size of the company and the relatively high turnover rate of staff in the accounts department you can get good experience that would be difficult to find elsewhere. Nice office building with private parking and good transport links. Strong financial position, so very good job security. Complete funding for training provided but you will be locked into the company for 2 years.

      Cons

      Very poor rates of pay and no benefits, which is why when combined with the great work experience, this make Cohens a good stepping stone company to progress you onto other things. Get in, get your experience and get out. No flexible working arrangements available. No career progression opportunities.

      Pros

      Provides training and opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      Very target orientated meaning minimum staffing levels. Staff often worked extra unpaid to get work done which keeps moral low. Poor communication from the top down.

      Pros

      No pros whatsoever. The place is need of modernisation as it is at least 15 years behind your typical office environment. 'Managers' have no management skills whatsoever. They're only managers because they've worked there since they were 16 and have learnt on the job how to deal with/handle people correctly. Don't waste your time.

      Cons

      No team spirit, no progression, promotion, payrise (unless the nat. minimum wage gets raised, blatant racist approach towards blacks and eastern European its actually shocking how they get ignored.
